New Beginnings

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

New beginnings… If everyone didn’t know already, I found a new job. I start March 13th. I’m excited but it is difficult to leave my present engagement. I like my current working environment but it’s time to move on. My reference to new beginnings means that I will have more opportunity at my new job. My new beginning is that can now focus on my career and make more money.

Anyways, congrats again to Shawn and Cassy. You are both a good match for each other. I hope you have a wonderful life together. However, Shawn, you have plenty of time to change your mind. Just kidding. Thanks for the chicken on Friday.

Speaking of Friday, Meat Friday has turned into the social event of the week. Joel and I wanted it to be time to eat meat and play video games. We would buy meat for ourselves and buy expensive beer. Now, we have meat to feed an army and the beer is much more domestic. We especially don’t have time to play video games. Either way, we still have lots of fun. Thanks for the support. I’ll keep cooking the meat if everyone shows up. Bring beer. Unfortunately, Meat Friday is postponed until next Friday. We have birthday plans. Hope to see everyone next week.

Okay, so I have nothing else to write for now.

Until next time.

Proprietors…..

Just letting you both know that I will finally be joining the group for this week’s edition of Meat Friday.

I will be taking it upon myself to alienate this bovine weekly holiday into more of a “not boring food” Friday, by providing some tasty shrimp appetizers for this evening. (I am still in pain from the last time I was served meat) At any rate, I hope to see you all tonight….

100th Post

Wednesday, February 8th, 2006

This is a momentous post.  It is my 100th post.  I want to thank everyone who watches the videos and reads the posts.  I tend to yammer on about stuff but thanks anyways.  I never thought that I would spend my time pouring my heart out to everyone who reads, but its cheaper then therapy.

Moving along, a few months ago Amy and I decided to knock down a wall in our house.  Well, February 4, 2006 was the date the wall came down.  I have to say that it was a lot of work, especially disposing of the refuse.  We have a pile of plaster on the side of the house that I will be feeding to the garbage man for months.  I do have some great footage of the day.  I will be posting it soon.

Anyways, even for you Steelers fans, did you think the Super Bowl was boring?  I thought it was boring.  Both teams did not play to their potential.  The officials just could not let them play ball.  Flag this, flag that.  It was never ending.  I can understand that both teams, especially the Steelers, had a long run of games and were exhausted.  Either way, congrats to the Steelers as being the only Wild Card team to win a Super Bowl.  Go Dolphins.

Well, I don’t have anything else to write.

Until next time.
