Quirks

Thursday, October 27th, 2005

The puppy dream has been shot down. It seems that our dog is too aggressive for the puppy we wanted to adopt. It is a shame because that dog was pretty cool.

This got me thinking about quirks. You would think something as simple as a dog relationship would be easy to start. Some dogs just don’t like other dogs. It is quirky how this happens. The quirks of humanity are even more interesting because of the brain capacity of humans. Some people just do not like certain people. Interesting stuff, right?

We could even consider the quirks of humanity. Does this cause people to not like another? The other thing to consider is what are these quirks? Is it like a bug in computer programming code? I just don’t know. Some of them are funny though. I use to know a guy who would only brush his teeth on weekends. You may say it is laziness but he generally was not lazy. He was a weird guy.

Have you ever noticed how people rely on time? Everything must be timed. For example, that person might say “we have to leave in two minutes or I have to be home by 9:00pm.”

I hate when there is tooth paste in the sink.

Some people do not like to drink beer out of a can or bottle. They have to drink it out of a glass. They must think the beer tastes better in a glass but I know that they must see what they are drinking. Is everyone reading familiar with the ole’ rat in the Pepsi trick?

Maybe our quirks are fears and we just don’t know it. We all call them pet peeves but are we afraid of something? Maybe it is a lack of commitment or fear of driving at night. Who knows? I just think is interesting.

My dog was afraid to hand over all of the attention to another dog. Can you blame her?

Anyways, I haven’t posted in a week or so. It feels like forever. The Halloween party is approaching. It will be good times. For those of you, who are attending, make sure you are in costume. We will be handing our prizes for the best costume. It will be a secret ballot. I also have some games in store that should be fun. We will be having the obvious beer games, too.

Also, over the weekend I went to the Lehigh Valley Brewfest at the State Theatre in Easton. Basically it was a buffet of microbrew samples. Vendors gave out food and beer samples to the attendees. I had a lot of fun and beer. In fact, some of the beer was actually good. I suggest the brewery in New Jersey called Cricket Hill. Their beer was very good.

Stay tuned for new videos and photos from Holla’ Ween. Safe weekend.

He is so damn cute.Posted by Picasa

Look at him. He is the coolest dog ever. We don’t know if he is ours until next week but we are keeping our fingers crossed. Maybe the other dog will learn a lesson or two from the new dog. I hope so because Indie (the mean dog) has been grumpy all week and I’m tried of it.We do need a name for him though. Cliff is apparently not good enough.

Anyways, Holla’ Ween is only 2 weeks away now. I have to get the bedroom done before the party. I hope I can get it done before then. We will have to move a few things and put a desk together. It will be good times. I plan on making some spooky punch for the party. My only job is to make the punch and I’m sticking to it. Hmmm, spooky punch is my favorite.

The purpose of the Moment with Will is simple. I rant and rave about things I like or dislike. Occasionally I post videos that mock humanity. Nobody should feel bad about looking at it. Yes, some of it is offensive and not appropriate for some audiences but we are all adults. We have all had exposure to language and situational comedy. Enjoy it. I know a lot of it is rambling and boring but get over it and enjoy it. One day when I’m old and gray, I won’t remember any of this.

New videos are coming soon.

Buy t-shirts. I ordered an “I touched T-Nuts” t-shirt this weekend, hopefully it arrives today.

Okay, so he couldn’t walk and he probably pissed himself

The Shawn Report is gone.  I don’t know if I can handle the pressure of filling the gap.  I understand that Shawn is busy and can’t focus on his blog.  That is no reason to completely delete it.  There is always room for a comeback.

I find myself trying to stay focused on things.  There are so many things going on in my life that it is difficult to concentrate on one thing more then an hour.

Things can get stale after a while too.  I hate when new things become part of my daily routine.  I’m too predictable these days.  The Regulars was definitely got stale.  It was the same old thing week after week.  Don’t get me wrong hanging out with friends was great.  I always had a good time.

Sometimes we all want a little more adventure in their live.  This past weekend, I went to Mothers in Easton.  I never thought I would go there on a Saturday night.  I had a lot of fun.  One person, who I will leave nameless, recently had a baby.  He has not been out for drinks in quite a long time.  His wife to be was very angry about his behavior.  I can not blame her for the way he was acting but the guy was just having a good time.  He was outside of his daily routine.  I can understand that he wanted to indulge on some delicious beers.  What is wrong with that?  Okay, so he couldn’t walk and he probably pissed himself.  Who cares?  He had fun.  It will be another 6 months before he will do that again.

Anyways, I am done talking.  Weekend is almost here.  Enjoy.

Wednesday Update

Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

Where is Shawn?  What happened to the glorious Shawn Report?  He gave us so much insight on his feelings and Bon Jovi or JBJ if you are not into that whole brevity thing.  Anyways, I’ve been waiting and waiting for a new post.  Nothing.  Wait another week and nothing.

What is the deal?  I’m scared for you Shawn.  I’m scared for all of those people who read it on a regular basis.  What happened to you man.  I know you will read this and you will respond quickly.  Get it together.

For those of you who have been recently made aware of the Moment with Will, please pass along the address but consider the audience.  I would hate to see anyone getting offended or think less of certain individuals after seeing some of the videos.

Don’t get me wrong I love the exposure but use your head.

Well everything is fine in Nazareth.  Work is the same and the house is the same.  We are getting ready for Holla’Ween.  Holla’Ween is the place to be this year.  Good times, cold drinks, and costumes.

I’m making this post short.  More to follow soon.  New videos, some surprises.  Wait and see.
